Kinda funny I think. This morning at 5 am I received an sms from Ad Tag that I won $20 which was good news. Had won $20 last week so made more money. Though it's really small. This morning at 11 am I failed my Basic Theory Test on the 1st attempt. Kinda sucks and this taught me a few things which I should note in future:
1. Do get enough sleep. 4 hours of sleep is not sufficient.
2. Don't panic. When your mother tells you that the test is not easy to pass and that it is 95% for a pass, 45 minutes before the test when you didn't know it, don't think you can't make it if you have read the damn thing like 3 times before the test.
3. Do know the basic requirements for the test. Thinking that it is a 90% for a pass I was way too confident.
4. Don't underestimate the test. This relates to point 2 and 3.
Rather fed up as I looked through the book and I made 3 mistakes which is 1 more than the maximum 2 for a pass. FUCK!
#1 Reduce Speed sign means slow down and NOT reduce speed. The evil bastards.
#2. Red cross in tunnel means a motorist shall not proceed beyond the sign and lane is closed to traffic.
#3 A continuous white line means vehicles should keep left and NOT parking is not allowed on left side.
The big fail on the screen at the end of the test is pretty demoralising. When I tried to print the bloody results as I thought there would be a marks breakdown, I found the print preview was just a fail. then I went downstairs where there was this on the screen, "Do you know 75.4% of people pass their BTT on their first attempt? Be one of them and sign up for lessons, etc?" Geez. For different word phrasing in the test and the high passing mark, the 75.4% are great. Sigh. August will be my last attempt. Feel bloody stupid and useless now. :(
